Home Care Organizer: A Resource for Your Family ASIN: 1881782042
Customer's Rating: 5 Summary: A "must have" for starting home care. Get it!
Comments: When we first learned my mother who has MS was going to need home care, a friend recommended the Home Care Organizer. Without a doubt, it has been invaluable in getting us organized...a place for listing medications, physicians, appointments, and a glossary and resource guide (with Internet resources!). Being able to add pages is also a plus. Her home care agency is now considering using it as a gift to every new patient! AND...it's so affordable!

The Family Caregiver's Journal: A Guide to Facing the Terminal Illness of a Loved One ASIN: 078801434X
Customer's Rating: 5 Summary: Explores the opportunities for love, grow and discovery
Comments: With the aging of the general population, and with the continuing tolls of injuries and illness, the role of the caregiver for the terminally ill is touching the lives of more and more people. Caregivers feel the full range of emotions that can include grief, bewilderment, isolation, stress, and exhaustion. Hank Bruce has written The Family Caregiver's Journal: A Guide To Facing The Terminal Illness Of A Loved One to help those charged with providing care for a dying family member by preparing them with what they can generally expect. This is also a work that will inspire caregiving as it explores the opportunities for love, grow and discovery that the end-of-life process has to offer. There are quotes, short stories, poems, and pages where the caregiver can give record their own feelings, and personally memorialize this most personal and intimate of responsibilities in our human associations with one another. The Family Caregiver's Journal is strongly recommended for anyone charged with the responsibility for the care of a loved one in their final days.

The Fearless Caregiver: How to Get the Best Care for Your Loved One and Still Have a Life of Your Own ASIN: 1892123436
Customer's Rating: 5 Summary: A Must-Read for all Caregivers!
Comments: It is about time that someone tackled the issues that caregivers face. It can often be a lonely and confusing time. I was a caregiver for my mother a few years ago and looked everywhere for a book like this. I needed something to walk me through all of the things I didn't understand. This a well-crafted, easy to read and understand book that all caregivers should read. I wish it had been available five years ago! I recommend it highly.
